Andre Serge Zammit – Podiatrist (Foot Specialist)
B.Sc (Hons)(UK), SR POD (36)

André graduated as a podiatrist from the University of Malta in 1999, pursuing his education at the University of Brighton (UK) in 2007.

He started his career in various local health centres, and was one of the founding members of the podo-geriatric team at St. Vincent de Paule Residence (SVPR). During his time at SVPR, he also offered his service in a variety of care homes and rehabilitation hospitals.

In 2008, Andre began a new venture with a walk-in podiatry clinic at Scholl Foothealth Centre in Valletta. All services within the fully licensed clinic were provided by Andre, even offering regular training to the Scholl sales assistants staff. This in-store clinic gave Andre’ the opportunity to be closer to the public, and understand their needs when it came to footwear problems and choices.

André is now focused on extending his dedicated podiatry service beyond Valletta by offering various clinics across Malta & Gozo, and including home visits for those who can’t make it to the clinic.

André believes that professional preventative general foot care is an important asset when it comes to maintaining healthy feet. Using a holistic approach and listening to his patient’s needs, Andre uses his years of experience in all aspects of foot-care, dermatological ailments, musculoskeletal, and neuro-vascular treatments.

In maintaining a high standard of service, Andre regularly engages in conferences and seminars locally and abroad on a variety of subjects related to podiatry and foot care. This ensures that Andre is always updated and at the forefront of new treatments and technologies

Andre served as President of the Malta Association of Podiatrists and spent a number of years as an active member.
